Mobilising Businesses for Social Good

The SBF Foundation works closely with the Social Sustainability Division (SSD) to co-drive the Social Impact Action Agenda, in support of national priorities including community development, employability, and corporate giving. Together, we offer businesses a structured and scalable way to contribute meaningfully to society—whether they are new to social impact or ready to deepen their efforts.

We offer a suite of programmes that are designed to enable companies to make a tangible difference:

• EmployWell
  
  Supports the employability of individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds by encouraging inclusive hiring and helping employers build supportive workplaces.
  
  

• In Their Shoes
  
  An immersive, empathy-building experience that allows corporate leaders to better understand the everyday challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
  
  

• Youth Connections
  
  Business leaders connect with young individuals, including youth-at-risk, helping them expand their networks, career opportunities and confidence through three simple steps – speed matching, a meal, and an office visit. 
  
  

• The Corporate Purpose Initiative
  
  The Corporate Purpose Initiative (TCPI) seeks to empower businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises, to align their ESG or Environmental, Social, and Governance goals with impactful social programmes. As a collective, TCPI’s strategic donors and partners support programmes that address systemic social challenges and foster a culture of care and sustainability within Singapore’s business community.
  
  

• Community Marketplace
  
  A platform that connects businesses with community partners aligned to their values to spark meaningful collaborations—making it easier to start or scale sustained corporate social impact.
  
  

• MigrantWell
  
  Addresses care gaps in dental, psychological care, and physiotherapy services for migrant workers, in collaboration with key medical and community partners, and funded by corporates.
