Inaugurated in 2015, the Singapore Regional Business Forum (SRBF®) - SBF’s annual signature event - is a high-profile, inclusive, and constructive platform for top business leaders, government officials, thought leaders and policy makers to explore policy development, economic vision, and business and investment-related opportunities in the region
Approximately 300 prominent speakers and panellists from Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, the United States, the European Union, and beyond have shared their experience and expertise on various business-related
topics in the past six editions of SRBF®. The sessions were attended by close to 5,000 participants from over 60 countries either physically or virtually. Almost three quarters of the participants were C-suite & senior management level.
SBF will be taking SRBF® to the region for the first time and this inaugural overseas edition of SRBF® will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam. 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of bilateral relationship and 10th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Singapore and Vietnam.
In the economically dynamic Southeast Asian region, Vietnam stands out as a rising star with abundance of opportunities for the global business communities. The choice of Vietnam also reflects the importance Singapore places on growing our bilateral relationship, especially in expanding business cooperation to new growth areas such as the digital economy, cyber security, clean energy, sustainable development, and smart cities.

In Conversation with Ministers: Enhancing Regional Collaboration for a Sustainable Future
2023 presents a dynamically different operating environment of emerging opportunities and new challenges. As the world learns to live with COVID-19, the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and factious US-China relations have dampened global
business outlook. To avoid slipping into further polarisation, there is an urgent need for regional governments and businesses to reconnect and renew regional partnerships to achieve a sustainable future. This In-Conversation segment with Ministers looks into both the tensions and prospects to build a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable future for the region. The panel will also explore ways to enhance partnerships in
order to unlock these shared aspirations. From energy transition to digital interoperability, how can we catalyse and bring both public and private sectors closer together? how sustainability is being operationalised at scale. New opportunities are emerging in areas such as clean energy, waste and resource management, and capital markets, from both demand and supply perspectives. This panel brings together business leaders from different industries to discuss how investors can participate in such opportunities in the region, while at the same time exporting their experiences from more mature markets to advance
the green transition.
