Assistant Manager/Manager, Programme Office

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Manager/ Manager to join our International Business Division (IBD) within Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to help Singapore companies Learn, Land and Localise overseas. This role is crucial in advancing our GlobalConnect@SBF objectives, ensuring compliance with government-funded programs, and providing high-level support to SBF management and committees. You will support SBF International Business Division in three key functions: (1) formulate and monitor progress of initiatives to advance IBD's objective, (2) ensure accurate, timely and smooth corporate KPI reporting, analyses, and updates for effective decision-making, and (3) enforce compliance and delivering of KPIs for government-funded programmes.

Job Responsibilities

1. Programme Initiative, Development and Monitoring

  • Lead/ Assist in the formulation and tracking of initiatives to promote internationalisation for Singapore companies
  • Operationalise internationalisation activities to support Singapore businesses
  • Conduct data analyses and compile programme data for effective decision-making
  • Assist market advisors with queries related to GlobalConnect@SBF’s programmes, ensuring alignment with EnterpriseSG’s requirements
  • Engage with EnterpriseSG to discuss and align on GlobalConnect@SBF and related programmes
  • Compile and submit quarterly KPI and cost reports to EnterpriseSG

2. Enforce compliance and delivery of KPIs for government-funded programmes secured for Internationalisation. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Conduct of GlobalConnect@SBF programme’s yearly audit
  • Ensure compliance on other internationalisation programmes secured by International Business Division
  • Support IBD’s budget control and monitoring, ensuring accountability of the overall funding cost and expense budgeting cashflow and project spending records, etc

3. Ensure accurate, timely and smooth corporate KPI reporting and updates, including:

  • Mid-term and full year corporate KPI reporting
  • Quarterly management reporting
  • Divisional management reporting

 

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline (Business-related, Accountancy and data analytics degrees preferred) with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Accounting background and/or experience in data mapping and analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in PowerBI or similar data analytics software
  • Detail oriented and highly organised, effectively numerate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability and experience in engaging with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, and is able to work within a team
