Assistant/Manager, Marketing Communications

The Integrated Communications & Marketing Assistant / Manager will support the development and execution of Singapore Business Federation’s (SBF) International Business Division’s (IBD) integrated communications strategy in alignment with the organisation’s mission and strategic direction. In addition to driving communication initiatives across media and digital platforms, the role will also contribute to brand development, website enhancement, and marketing projects to strengthen SBF’s, and particularly IBD’s visibility and stakeholder engagement.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Integrated Communications

  • Propose and implement an integrated communications plan that supports SBF’s strategic objectives.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders and appointed agencies to support the execution of the communications plan.
  • Craft clear, compelling and visually engaging content and key messages across digital, print, social media, and internal communication platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of communication strategies and campaigns, working with media monitoring and social media listening vendor to provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the media landscape.
  • Organise and execute IBD events, briefings, and oversee the execution of promotional activities on IBD specific channels and platforms.

Marketing, Brand & Website

  • Support brand development initiatives to ensure consistent representation of IBD identity across all SBF channels.
  • Contribute to website and social media platform planning, enhancement, and content scheduling and updates to improve user experience and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with vendors, designers, and internal teams to execute marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Develop storyboard and implement visually engaging content for digital platforms and support marketing-led storytelling initiatives.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc marketing or branding projects as required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimally 5 years of experience with a strong track record in developing and executing integrated communications strategies.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to create visually engaging content through Canva for social media and digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, paid advertising, scheduling tools, and analytics.
  • Strong ability to provide journalistic and onsite event photography and support.
  • Experience in media relations is a plus.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, brand building, and driving engagement through innovative communication and marketing strategies.
