SBF partners the Infocomm Media and Development Authority to support enterprises with paperless invoicing via InvoiceNow. InvoiceNow is a nationwide E-invoicing method that facilitates the direct transmission of invoices in a structured digital format across finance systems. Operating on the open standard Peppol network, this new standard of invoicing will help both Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Large Enterprises (LEs) enjoy smoother Invoicing, faster payments and is environmentally friendly with the reduction in usage of hard copy invoices.
Grow Digital is an initiative by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) under the SMEs Go Digital programme. Under this initiative, SMEs can participate in Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) e-commerce platforms to sell overseas without a need for physical presence.
Digital Economy Agreements (DEAs) are a new form of international agreement that is part of Singapore’s multi-pronged strategy towards facilitating trade and fostering collaboration in a digital economy.
SBF is among 19 international and local business organisations, trade associations and societies partnering the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA) as pioneer SG Cyber Safe Advocates under the SG Cyber Safe Partnership Programme.
Under the programme, SBF partners CSA to help more SMEs raise their cybersecurity awareness and encourage adoption of good cybersecurity practices.
The SBF SMEs Go Digital: Industry Forums bring together relevant government agencies and private companies to educate them on the Industry Transformation Maps (ITM), Industry Digital Plans (IDP), A*STAR's research capabilities, intellectual property and innovation and trending digitalisation topics like the Metaverse and Web3.0
The Future Economy Council (FEC) drives the growth and transformations of Singapore's economy for the future. Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat, the Council comprises members from government, industry, union, and educational and training institutions. The FEC oversees the implementation of the recommendations put forth by the Committee on the Future Economy (CFE), and will build on the work of the earlier Council for Skills, Innovation and Productivity, which includes SkillsFuture initiatives and Industry Transformation Maps. SBF supports the work of the FEC and actively organises activities to help businesses in their transformation journey.
The SBF Future Economy Conference and Exhibition (FECE) is a flagship event under the Singapore Apex Business Summit which brings together experts from both public and private sectors to encourage businesses to innovate and transform digitally.
