In this role, you will report to the Director of TACs and Business Networks (TBN) Department under SBF’s Strategic Partnerships and Events Division (SPED) and will assist in spearheading strategy development as well as capability and capacity building for the Trade Association and Chamber (TAC) sector. This includes formulating strategies to enhance sector and organisational capabilities, develop and implement impact and progress tracking matrix/mechanisms, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to implement identified plans.
Job responsibilities
Strategy Development: Create, implement, review and enhance comprehensive strategies to engage TACs and ecosystem partners, aligning efforts under the TAC Sector Transformation Map and government agencies such as Ministry of Trade and Industry and Enterprise Singapore. This includes enabling the use of innovative approaches and technologies such as leveraging data analytics, AI, and digital platforms to create more effective engagement strategies.
Sector Development & Advocacy: Lead the curating and organising of the TAC Summit, a signature event of SBF and with the ambition to be Asia’s premier platform for local and regional TACs. This includes working with the strategic events and strategic partnerships teams to develop and execute the programme, manage, build and deepen partnerships, and lead and execute ad-hoc projects that may take place in conjunction with the TAC Summit (E.g. Networking functions, side-events etc).
Strategic Communication: Craft compelling messages and materials that effectively convey the impact of programmes and platforms to TACs, partners and the regional/global TAC community.
Strategic Planning and Reporting: Assist Director, TBN, to develop operational plans and budgets to achieve department objectives and working with stakeholders to incorporate their input into future plans.
