Senior/Executive, Smart Enterprise (6-month Contract)

As an Executive or Senior Executive within the Smart Technologies and Sustainability Division, your primary responsibility is to support the team to conceptualise, organise, manage, and provide comprehensive marketing and operational support for the Division’s workshops and initiatives designed to equip businesses with insights, expertise, and practical solutions and help these businesses adopt and utilise technological tools in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and e-invoicing.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Working with external stakeholders to co-curate digitalisation-themed workshops and events that provide tangible benefits for businesses across sectors and sizes.
  2. Crafting marketing materials for relevant stakeholders to increase the profile and visibility of the Division’s digitalisation initiatives, including but not limited to cybersecurity, AI, digital project implementations, digital health checks and assessments, and InvoiceNow.
  3. Managing online registration platforms, workshop logistics and post-workshop follow-ups with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all, while maintaining clear communication and timely updates to facilitate successful engagement and outcomes.
  4. Supporting database management for the Division to ensure relevancy and accuracy and expanding the database to include comprehensive records that enhance and facilitate meaningful engagement with companies.
  5. Handle any other ad-hoc responsibilities and duties assigned by the Division and management.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience and background in event management, marketing, and/or business development.
  • Strong in programme development, project management and budget control skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are required. For instance, able to communicate effectively with external stakeholders such as sponsors, speakers, and event partners, etc.
  • Ability to create attractive event marketing and promotional collaterals independently (e.g. programme leaflets, flyers, eDMs, banners, social media posts, etc.).
  • Good analytical, consultation, planning, presentation and facilitation skills will be an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, good time management, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and preferably design software such as Canva or Photoshop.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
