Manager/Assistant Manager, Communications & Fundraising

MigrantWell Singapore (MWS), an initiative by the Singapore Business Federation Foundation (SBFF) and Donors Khoo Teck Puat and Ng Teng Fong Estates, is dedicated to enhancing migrant workers' health and well-being in Singapore.  The Secretariat oversees MWS’s operations, aligning its programmes with its mission to address healthcare gaps and promote better outcomes for the migrant worker community and its employers in Singapore.

The candidate will support the Head of Secretariat to drive the brand visibility of MWS and lead its communications and fundraising initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual with experience in communications, social media marketing and fundraising, able to manage multiple projects and build relationships with stakeholders and donors.

Responsibilities

Communications:

  • Manage the organisation’s website, social media channels, and other marketing platforms to ensure consistency, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Develop and manage content for MWS channels, including social media, annual reports, website, press releases, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand voice across all communication platforms.
  • Support engagement efforts, including EDM blasts and MWS events, ensuring effective outreach to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality submission of materials for governance and reporting, and marketing purposes.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics such as web analytics, social media analytics, and campaign effectiveness, using insights to optimise future strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage MWS’ public relations activities, including media outreach and responding to media inquiries.
  • Ensure all donor and stakeholder communications comply with relevant data protection and communication regulations, maintaining transparency and confidentiality.

Fundraising:

  • Organise and manage fundraising campaigns and events, including planning, promotion, logistics, and follow-up activities to maximise impact.
  • Develop compelling donor engagement content, including campaign messaging, and impact stories.
  • Manage and update MWS’ Giving.sg page, developing fundraising campaigns and ensuring accurate information for donors.
  • Manage donor databases for communications and outreach efforts, including tracking of engagement.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing impact reports, presentations, and donor stewardship materials to communicate the value and outcomes of MWS initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in communications, social media and events marketing, fundraising or related areas, with proven track record in managing communications or fundraising campaigns
  • Proficient in social media platforms, digital marketing, analytical tools and graphic design tools like Canva.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
  • Passion for social impact and experience working with vulnerable communities is a plus.
