The SBF Foundation is the social impact arm of the Singapore Business Federation, focused on mobilising corporate purpose for social impact. We work with companies to develop platforms and programmes to show that they care for their workforce and the larger community. We partner businesses to develop and deepen their social impact contribution to society because a strong social compact forms the foundation of an inclusive and resilient Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

Corporate Communications

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to promote the charity's mission, programmes, and events.
  • Create and manage content for various channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, website, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate and manage the Foundation’s public relations activities, including responding to media inquiries and crisis communication.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality messaging.

Fundraising

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organisations.
  • Organise and manage fundraising events, including planning, promotion, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Prepare compelling grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor correspondence.
  • Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring accurate records of donations and communications.

Corporate and Governance Responsibilities

  • Prepare board papers, presentations, and reports to Board and committee meetings
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate submission of materials for governance purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experienced and effective in corporate communications, fundraising, or a related role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising, including experience with grant writing, event planning, and donor relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
