Assistant Manager, Finance

The Assistant Manager will be managing the organization’s incoming collections from members, ensuring proper accounting, and maintaining effective communication with members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely collections.
  • Manage bulk issuance of subscription fee invoices and credit notes
  • Ensure refund transactions are promptly and accurately accounted
  • Follow up with members regarding overdue invoices.
  • Respond promptly to members’ billing-related inquiries and issues.
  • Reconcile incoming collections with outstanding invoices.
  • Prepare regular reports on account statues, outstanding balances, and collection efforts.
  • Support month-end closing activities by reconciling all AR subledger accounts.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
  • Work closely with various internal departments to resolve collection discrepancies.
  • Assist in internal and statutory audit
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc tasks being assigned as required from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.
  • Preferably proficiency in Oracle Netsuite
  • Proficient in MS Excel and strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage timeline.
