Assistant Manager, Social Sustainability

We are seeking dynamic and motivated Assistant Managers to help grow and deliver SBF’s Corporate Volunteering Programme. This role is pivotal in raising awareness, creating interest, and mobilising businesses to engage in impactful community volunteering. 

Job Responsibilities

Business Development and Research:

  • Identify and pursue prospective business clients to support corporate volunteering.
  • Track trends in social sustainability and impact; apply insights to shape strategy and programme design.

Marketing, Communications and Corporate Engagement:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans tailored to different business needs.
  • Run targeted outreach campaigns, webinars and info sessions.
  • Create effective content (online and offline) to raise awareness, and generate interest and dialogue on corporate volunteering.

Relationship and Partnership Management:

  • Work closely with the team to manage relationships with business clients and non-profit partners.
  • Act as key contact for day to day communications ensuring clarity, responsiveness and alignment with programme objectives.
  • Support business and community partner journey mapping, ensuring a meaningful volunteer experience.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases, tracking engagement data and contributing insights that inform on strategy and programme growth.

Matching, Deployment and Reporting:

  • Assess business readiness recommend suitable programme support to address needs.
  • Facilitate matching and smooth deployment of volunteering opportunities
  • Guide clients on impact tracking and social impact reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications e.g. in CSR, Sustainability would be advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of experience in CSR, nonprofit partnerships, corporate engagement, or membership recruitment and relations.
  • Proven track record in B2B and B2C marketing, projects and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of corporate volunteering, ESG, sustainability, and social impact trends.
  • Skilled in data tracking, analytics, reporting, and CRM tools
  • Strong communicator, self-starter, and eager learner
